Love this movie!!!! (by everfaith7) |
I loved this movie! It was such a pleasure to see a movie that all of my kids could watch without embarrassing moments. All the negative reviews seem to be bent on tearing down Christian writers/directors. The movie was a breath of fresh air and my family will pay to see these types of films. We stopped years ago wasting our money on films that have vulgar language and nudity. Great job Pure Flix for such a quality movie that hits the heart and makes us laugh!: I want to add that I read reviews that called the film sexist and that is their way of putting a negative spin to get people not to <more> |
Fun mom movie perfect for a mom's night out (by erinjtierney) |
Moms' Night Out is such a breath of fresh air! It's clean! I could take whoever I wanted to, and leave without blushing. The film will most likely appeal to moms particular those with younger kids , as it is easy to relate and see yourself in the characters. I literally laughed out loud even to the point of tears more than once for the majority of the movie. Love, love, love it! A must see, and an especially great mother's day movie to enjoy with a mom. This is actually the second time I've seen the movie, and I thought it was just as funny the second time around! I've <more> |
Funniest movie I have seen in a long time. (by jimludwig) |
This movie starts and ends with making everyone laugh. I do not really like going to the movies. I prefer to watch a movie on TV while I am also engaged on the laptop. I normally fidget when watching a movie in the theater waiting for it to end. Not the case with Mom's Night Out. It kept me so busy laughing out loud that I was enjoying every minute of it. There were times when it was hard to hear because the whole audience was laughing so loud. It is a fantastic family movie and one everyone can enjoy. It has no foul language or sex scenes to worry about. Those are never really needed <more> |
A fun family friendly film (by cindynavarro713) |
Mom's Night Out is one of the most delightful comedies I have seen in years. It was pure joy to sit through a film that was not filled with crude, raunchy, vulgar "humor" or language. I honestly had doubts about even attending; my thoughts were "chick flick" not a huge fan , the "dad is inept" routine whose popularity is what led me to quit watching television comedies years ago , and how rare comedy is with faith-based films. I seldom cry or laugh at films, in theaters anyway, but I laughed out loud during much of this film. Best part? I laughed at loud <more> |
Perfect Mother's Day Fun Embedded with Deep Truth about Motherhood (by kris-127-901192) |
This movie is refreshingly wholesome and since I had my 17 year old daughter with me, it was nice not to worry about embarrassing scenes. I thought it was a girls movie, and it would be perfect for a girl's night out, but it was also a movie that would be awesome for a date night if you have young kids. It was funny, and quirky, but it also had moments of deep truth about what it is like to have those "mommie moments" when you just feel like a total out of control mess. It addresses the sense of failure moms with young kids and teenagers often have, and you walk out a little bit <more> |
Laughed both times! (by RichSwingle) |
We just got back from seeing Moms' Night Out the second time. While we were walking out my wife said she heard some lines she missed the first time because we were laughing so hard. But I still laughed 'til I hurt and wept at the profundity. Sarah Drew Grey's Anatomy, Mad Men, Castle plays a frazzled mother of three, who can't quite seem to stay on top of her dream job: raising her three adorable children. Her loving husband, played by Sean Astin Lord of the Rings, Rudy urges her to do something for herself, so she arranges, well, a moms' night out with her best <more> |
Why do critics hate Religion? (by Picses17017) |
In short, it's a very good movie.I don't know why most critics here, don't like the God-factor in a movie. It is nothing like other lame comedies which rely solely on sex-related jokes. It shows the stress our moms faced, with 'you are the best when you are yourself' kind of thing."Sarah Drew" is a really great actor. This is her first movie that I have seen and I must say, I want to see more.Summary: Good comedy with very nice acting and a movie which you can totally see with your family. |
Good Movie (by jutaylor53) |
Saw Mom's Night Out this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just an all around good movie that anyone can see. No cussing, nudity and sex. A number of hilarious scenes that will make you bust a gut. Sarah Drew was hysterical. Great Writing and directing! Stay through the credits for out takes. If you want to continue to see movies that are just good and enjoyable that don't contain violence, sex, drugs and filthy language it is essential to support these movies and especially on the first weekend they are out. This movie was not preachy or tried to cram religion down your throat. <more> |
Funny and Clean (by chrisclopp) |
Mom's Night Out is reminiscent of 80s movies like License to Drive and Adventures in Babysitting. If you remember those movies fondly, then you will probably love this.It is also squeaky clean with a good message. It has been billed as a "Christian movie", but if that type of thing turns you off, don't let it worry you. It is really more like a fun romp without sex or bad language thrown in.There are a few clichés and a few corny jokes, but there are also a lot of laughs, especially in the second half of the movie. Overall, I liked it more than Date Night.FYI, stick around <more> |
