| Yesterday I saw the movie at Budapest. The cinema was almost full. I was surprised. I was reading at least 10-12 Jack Reacher books. So it means that I like this new movie as well. I loved the style of the colours. I liked that out of Tom Cruise nobody was well known actor or actress. His jokes was fantastic. I was estimated the same style. I loved it from the first minute till the last. Drink cafe, travel on the bus. Perfect! It will be the new Dirty Harry!!!! | Guys, don't look at the rating, go enjoy this movie, it's totally full of action and a strong message. I enjoyed the movie from the beginning to end. There is a strong message in the movie that goes against the corruption in US ARMY and overall war in Afghanistan and most probably that is why, some so called patriotic are rating this movie low. But, this is an excellent story that does highlight some never known truth or at least it tries to. This message is good for all want to be proud Army and Marine. | OK, I really liked it. Totally worth seeing. I have one complaint. The camera-work was hectic. Bits, pieces, flashes, snips, specs and quick tight shorts of body parts or a partial scenes or of stuff that I couldn't what it was because there was no flow to many of the stunts or fights. Fight scenes and stunts are choreographed, or should be, so the viewer can get the WHOLE action. Like a dance routine--you need to see the whole body/bodies executing the moves. | I seriously don't understand why this movie is getting such bad reviews. If you're a die hard Jack Reacher fan then you're gonna love this movie. If you're a fan of action movies in general then you'll certainly like it. It's got all the right things in place. Great action, solid performances, a decent soundtrack and a shitload of ass-kicking the Reacher way. Seriously this movie is pretty damn good.It is quite different from the first one too. | A solid action film, with the usual touch of humour.Yes, I've read the novels, but the film's seem stand alone, in the film world, Tom Cruise IS Jack Reacher.Tom is not a favourite but an OK actor, but I don't rate him on size alone, he brings a lot more to the table than many give him credit for.I liked this movie, I suppose I knew the plot, but there were significant changes from the book. This kept even the most avid book reader on their toes, a movie does not have to be exactly the same as the book.Even my wife enjoyed it!All in all an entertaining action flick for all ages. |

| The good thing about Tom Cruise action movies is the violence isn't gratuitous, the action is exciting and he isn't afraid to share the limelight with his costars. I like his costars here Cobie Smulders is a convincing Major who gets framed by some military contractor arms dealer the villains du jour . Plus there is a likable brat possible daughter and the 3 together are a cute team. The villain is played by Patrick Heusinger - don't get why he has got it in for Jack so much. | I'll start by saying that I am one of the readers of the Lee Child Reacher novels who railed against the miscast Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. Though I think Cruise does a good job of portraying the loner aspect of Reacher's personality, the magnitude of Reacher's Bad Ass quotient is lost due to the 10 inches or so difference in size between Cruise and the character described in the books.
